What's New At Oxford Abstracts - June 2025

We’ve been busy behind the scenes — and we’re thrilled to share what’s new!

From intelligent analytics and seamless integrations to streamlined reviewer management, these updates are designed to make your life easier and your events smarter.

Let’s dive in.

🧾 New & Improved Reviewer Sign-On Flow

Reviewer management just got a whole lot easier.

We've completely revamped how you add reviewers, including a new Reviewer Sign-Up Form. This gives you more control and helps reviewers self-identify what they're best qualified to assess.

Here’s what’s included:

  • Standard info: name, email, reviewer details, interest confirmation

  • NEW: Reviewers can now select which categories they’re qualified to review — mapped directly from your submission form

  • Option to add your own custom questions

You can still upload reviewer details manually or bulk upload using our easy downloadable template.

To access this, head to Event Setup > Manage Reviewers on your dashboard.

🤖 Auto-Assign Reviewers: Now Smarter Than Ever

Our Auto-Assign Reviewers tool was a hit when we launched it in 2022, and now it’s even better.

Thanks to your feedback, we’ve added new assignment options for maximum flexibility:

🔁 Assign Unassigned Only

This option is perfect for adding new submissions mid-cycle. It randomly assigns only those that have yet to be reviewed.

🔄 Reassign All Incomplete Reviews

Do you need to reallocate work from inactive reviewers? This feature reassigns any submissions that have yet to be started and includes any new ones.

🎯 Assign Specific

Need more control? Manually assign particular submissions to particular reviewers — great for handling complex or niche topics.

📊 Submission Analytics — Track What’s Working

In our last blog, we teased this powerful new tool. Now it’s officially live — and it’s a game-changer.

With Submission Analytics, you can finally see where your traffic and submissions are coming from. Whether it’s LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, or your website, you’ll know exactly what’s driving form views and submissions.

Why it matters:

  • Track clicks and submissions by source

  • Understand which marketing channels are performing the best

  • Make smarter promotional decisions next time around

Example: If you share your submission form link on LinkedIn, you'll be able to see how many views and submissions came directly from that post.

🔗 Integrations That Save Time

You asked for more integrations, and we delivered. You can now connect EventsAir, Swapcard, and ID Loom directly with your Oxford Abstracts event.

Here’s how they work:

EventsAir Integration

Automatically sync registrant data between EventsAir and Oxford Abstracts.

Key benefit: See at a glance which submitters and authors have registered — no need to cross-check systems.

Example: When a presenter registers via EventsAir, their name appears as “Registered” in your Oxford Abstracts submissions table.

Swapcard Integration

Using Swapcard for your conference app? Now you can export your Oxford Abstracts sessions straight into Swapcard — no more double entry.

Key benefit: Seamless session syncing. Your schedule stays up-to-date in both platforms with minimal effort.

ID Loom Integration

Like with EventsAir, this integration pulls submitter registration data from ID Loom into Oxford Abstracts.

Key benefit: Instantly view who’s registered and confirmed, without toggling between platforms.

🌟 And That’s Not All…

That’s our 2025 feature roundup (so far)! But hold tight — we’ve got two big announcements just around the corner, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.

Thanks for being part of the Oxford Abstracts community — and as always, we love hearing your feedback.
